This configuration profile does have a space for a username. The RADIUS authenticated connection was not auto-connected after login, even when logging in as the same user account.Īs is the case with the newer OSes, 802.1x configurations can only be deployed in a configuration profile. The RADIUS authenticated connection was not maintained nor auto-connected at the login window.

Additionally, his issue was only seen by Ben on Mac OS X 10.8, where-as I was having issues with OS X 10.11.4. This was not something the customer’s Cisco ACS unit could do. Now Ben had a great work around of setting the NPS server to modify the incoming authentication request, to make it acceptable to the RADIUS server. It appears that the Mac client is presenting the certificate to the RADIUS server, as requested, but the request is being accepted as a ‘user-authentication’ request, rather than a ‘device-authentication’ request.ĭue to this, the Cisco unit attempts to look up the authentication request against AD users and not computers, resulting in the “user” not being found. However the device just sat there on “Authenticating…” without any change.Īfter some further work with the customer’s RAIDUS team, we found a RADIUS log message similar to what Ben Toms mentions in his post, specifically: This time, I had a customer running device-based RADIUS (802.1x) authentication on their wired network.Īll options in the configuration profile appeared to be setup correctly and the device obtained its Active Directory (AD) certificate correctly and without issue. This blog is another in an ongoing recent theme I’ve been using Customer Requests! (Maybe I should add a new tag for this type)

To cut a rather long story short, this movie is a whole new cinematic experience and in the good sense too.

Some others are pretty down-to-earth and perfectly recognizable, like the hackneyed bunch of American university youngsters with their sans-souci attitude and naive approach to everything that happens in the village.

The public meeting ordered by the Mayor in front of the city hall in order to remember "what everybody was doing on June 24, 1947" and have a little flashback experience (obviously, the Belgian group disappears immediately since they weren't at the village a that time). The Belgian group of tourists that visit the village with the very curious but determined purpose of hearing the Priest while celebrating mess because the man is so very skillful and wonderful in elevating the holy host towards the heavens. For instance, the Argentinean guy who claim to be a writer but, each time he starts writing a new book it turns out to be a plagiarized copy of some Faulkner or Chekhov work. On the other hand, some of the characters in the movie are definitely peculiar and purposely surrealistic. In fact, what is said about 80's Spain could also be a good description of many other societies of those years but, obviously, you would have to change the village priest or the Civil Guard or the Mayor (which, in one of the most far-fetched, yet brilliant utterances in the movie, is claimed to be "necessary, while we villains are contingent" - take a look at a dictionary to get that one) for equivalent figures in your own society. It's in the best tradition of Spanish surreal humor (like Luis Garcia Berlanga's "Calabuch") but, unlike that one, is far more caustic with 80's Spanish reality and social elements.

Well, this is certainly one of those movies that seize your attention from minute one and keep you there all through the show.
